For FAEY Teknoloji ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti., sustainability means considering resource use, impacts on people and long-term operability alongside cost and function in technology decisions. This policy sets out the principles adopted for our own decisions and contracted advisory work.
Our commitment is to include these matters in relevant decision criteria, explain the basis for our recommendations and avoid unsupported environmental achievement claims. It does not mean that we assume responsibility for every outcome of a customer’s or supplier’s operations.
2. Environmental decision principles
When assessing technology options, we consider suitable capacity, energy use, product life and maintenance and repair options. Where the advisory scope allows, we recommend appropriate use of existing resources before early hardware replacement and lawful management of electronic waste.
We assess remote meetings and digital documentation alongside service quality, information security and the requirements of the work. These principles are not a claim of measured energy or emissions reduction.
3. People and society
We base decisions and business relationships on respect for human rights, equal opportunity and privacy. We do not accept discrimination. We consider accessibility in service design and relevant occupational health and safety requirements in project work within our scope and authority.
We assess technology choices alongside users’ needs and working conditions, rather than technical specifications alone.
4. Governance and procurement
We aim to present recommendations honestly and clearly, disclose conflicts of interest that could affect decisions and assess procurement options against explicit criteria. We do not present a supplier’s environmental or social statement as a verified achievement without evidence.
When assessing a certificate or report, we consider its scope, validity period and relevance to the product or service. This policy does not state that every supplier has been audited.
5. Measurement, Transparency and Continuous Improvement
When reporting a measurable sustainability outcome, we identify its scope, period, method and supporting data. We do not present targets as achieved results or make certification or carbon neutrality claims without supporting documents and scope.
This policy describes decision principles; it is not a performance report. As measurement data and implementation results develop, we document targets and progress separately.
6. Feedback
Send questions about implementation and improvement suggestions to info@faeyconsulting.com. We consider feedback when developing this policy and our practices and publish changes with a revision date.
